My name is Ricky Wyatt and I would like your vote in the upcoming Trustee election. My wife, Julie, has lived in HH for 28 years and I have lived here for 18 years. I am a Station Engineer for AEP. The main reason for me seeking election as a Trustee is to help keep HH a thriving, friendly and family oriented community. I do not want to see our community run by an outside management company that will not have the community’s best interest in mind.Harlie Jackson
My family and I moved to Pickerington two years ago, and we’ve loved becoming part of this community. We have a young daughter, which has made me even more invested in helping our neighborhood stay safe, welcoming, and family-friendly. I’m interested in joining the HOA board to bring a fresh perspective, support positive improvements, and help plan fun events that bring our community together. I believe in open communication, practical problem-solving, and making decisions that strengthen our neighborhood for the long term. With my passion for community involvement and a strong commitment to our neighborhood’s future, I would be honored to serve on the board.Laura Fearing
My name is Laura Fearing, my family and I have lived in Huntington Hills for 5 years. The Army moved us from Texas to Ohio 15 years ago and while we are not native Ohioans, I feel like we’ve been here long enough to call it home.I am a mother to 4 kids: Victoria (14), Amelia (11), Leo (9), and Natalia (8). We have two dogs (Leonard and Max) and two birds (Mango and Papaya). Iam a retired Army wife. My husband (Michael) retired from active-duty last year after 26 years of service.
For the last 14 years I have been employed with the Department of Defense as a Budget and Program Analyst for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) – Columbus. I was recently selected as chairperson for the Civilian Welfare Council (CWC) for DLA. The council manages the Civilian Welfare Fund (CWF). The CWC represents the interest of all DSCC civilian employees in relation to the maintenance and operation of the CWF; planning for financing of CWF property and activities; reviewing all financial statements and reports; ensuring funds are properly administered and safeguarded in accordance with all controlling authorities.
Prior to this I served as the Soldier and Family Readiness Group Leader (SFRG Leader) for my husband’s Army unit. In 2021, I was awarded the Commanders Coin for outstanding leadership and rear detachment support provided during the units’ deployment to Saudi Arabia. In 2024 as a family, we volunteered to fill and hide eggs for the HH Easter Egg hunt. I have also volunteered as a Pickerington North band chaperone and driver for the band tag day. I have a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in accounting. My hobbies include building Legos, gardening, sewing, firing/painting ceramics, photography and anything crafty I find interesting on social media.
When we moved to Huntington Hills 5 years ago we not only fell in love with our home, but with the neighborhood as well. We felt privileged to have found such a strong sense of home within the neighborhood. I love the fact that in the summer my children have friends they can play with till the porch lights come on. I enjoy going to the pool and watching my kids get excited about seeing their friends from school. But mostly I enjoy having that sense of community where we know our neighbors and can partake in a sense of unity, pride and comradery that everyone in the neighborhood feels and shares with each other.
With all the changes coming to the area around Huntington Hills I would hate to lose that sense of home. My reason for volunteering as a trustee is so that I may serve my community and possibly make a meaningful contribution.
