Unfortunately, we will not be hosting our traditional Easter Egg Hunt this year; however, we have planned an alternative event to safely celebrate Easter as a neighborhood with a Coloring Challenge. The coloring sheet will be available for download starting March 5, 2021.
- Download provided coloring page designed exclusively by Children’s Author and Illustrator Steve Harpster for each child to complete (please no oversized paper so it will fit in the bin). SEE DOWNLOAD BUTTON AT THE END OF THE POST.
- Submit completed coloring page on Sunday, March 28 between 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. to 11161 Forest Lane Ave. During the designated time each participant will receive a candy treat (non-food items will be available upon request for kids who need that option).
- There will be a contact-free bin to place artwork in and a table of candy treats for kids to take one. If the weather permits, the Easter Bunny will be onsite!
- Please be sure to include ALL of the following information on the artwork: child’s name, child’s age, address, and contact phone number.
- Artwork from each of the listed age groups will be randomly drawn to then receive a prize (TBD).
- Age groups are as follows: 0-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12
We realize this date and time may not work for everyone; however, we wanted to schedule this event for the same date and time the Easter Egg Hunt is typically held (which is always the Sunday before Easter at 3:00 p.m.).
If your child is unavailable to turn in completed artwork during the scheduled time, there will be a bin available on the porch at 11161 Forest Lane Ave on Sunday, March 21st from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Feel free to place artwork in the bin that day. The artwork submitted on March 21 will be included in the random drawing for the prizes; however, there will not be candy bags available that day.
We kindly request participants be residents and/or resident grandchildren.
